WEEK 12

Hi, Assalamualaikum everyone. So here my update for week 12. 

Actually we should class this week, at 8:30am. But sadly to tell you guys that Madam Dini got emergency hospital visits, so there won’t be any class today. 

So since our examination just around the corner so I did a revision by myself. 

So today I’m gonna share what I have learned today 🙈


Early childhood education (ECE) documentation is all about capturing the learning journey of young children. It’s not about just test scores or finished products, but rather the process of exploration, discovery and development. 

Above are about the strategy and method for documentation for infants and toddlers. 

At this chapter also gave information regarding the guidelines for documenting children’s learning.
  • View documentation as an important part of your work 
  • Capture children’s voices and ideas 
  • Be selective 
  • Share documentation efforts 
  • Constantly review 
  • Make it relevant for the setting as documentation 
  • Be clear about what standards 
Why do you need to document ? 
  1. Gathering and analysing information what children know, can do and understand 
  2. Knowing child’s progress and achievements 
  3. Plan effectively for children current and future 
  4. Able communicate about children’s learning and progress 
  5. Determine the extent to which all learning are progressing in their learning
